Be the Change... Donate
Volunteers help make each of the sails memorable, and donations make each sail possible. Soothe Our Souls is a vibrant non-profit organization that offers people with troubling health issues and their caregivers complimentary two-hour sailing retreats. SOS guests enjoy a reprieve from it all when they sail on the beautiful waters of Boca Ciega Bay.

Please help us continue to provide monthly sailing trips. All donations are welcome and warmly appreciated. We accept monetary as well as vessels and cars as we have a team of volunteers with the capability to repair items donated.
Even $25 can help bring aboard one more guest!
MEMORIAL
Nina NicholsoN
Soothe Our Souls regrets the passing of Nina Nicholson, a founding board member of “Soothe Our Souls,” on December 31, 2023. She was a friend to many in and beyond the SOS community and an inspiration and indispensable part of the SOS program.
Nina had many great loves in her life. Her first love was for her entire immediate family (husband Art, daughter Carly Nicholson, and son Taylor Nicholson), all of whom preceded her in death. Her next loves were sailing and traveling. During much of her life, she was either literally sailing on the seas or she was with friends, sailing (on airline wings) to a dozen foreign nations. She and Art were even married on the water, aboard the sailing yacht Phoenix, skippered then and now by Captain Dan Peretz.
Captain Peretz and Nina were instrumental in forming Soothe Our Souls upon Nina’s late husband Art. Soothe Our Souls is a Pinellas-based 501(c)(3) non-profit devoted to providing gratis sailing outings and moments of peace and healing to seriously ill people. Nina has kindly requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to SOS, which can be reached at www.SootheOurSouls.org (that’s .org, not .com) or by phone at 727-360-7411 (Dolphin Landings Charter Boat Center). Your donations will help others find the inner peace on the water that Nina found there, again and again.

Nina was a bright constellation in our skies, and we will always see her there.
